Verizon begins dual Nasdaq-NYSE listing

Verizon Communications announced it will retain its New York Stock Exchange listing while starting to trade today on the Nasdaq market, the first major telecom carrier to join the Nasdaq. In a statement, Verizon said the additional listing would "benefit our current and potential investors."
