Skype suit settlement may be close
The parties involved in a battle over control of the VoIP service Skype may have reached a settlement, according to a published report that predicted an announcement could come this week. The proposed settlement would give the plaintiffs -- Skype's founders -- a stake in the new company formed as a result of eBay's pending sale of the company to a group of private-equity investors.
