U.K.'s C&W going into long-distance business in India

The new entity Cable & Wireless Networks India, incorporated earlier this month, will be 74% owned by the U.K.-based Cable & Wireless. The balance of ownership, 26%, is held by an Indian partner, in keeping with that nation's ownership rules.
