Nortel postpones GSM asset auction, advances Hitachi sale
Nortel Networks has delayed the auction of its GSM wireless business until Nov. 20 to give interested parties more time to submit bids for the assets, which include some patents. Nortel also announced it received court approval to sell some of its next-gen packet core network components to Hitachi for $10 million.
