Report: Cybersecurity draft includes a data-sharing provision
The latest draft of a possible White House executive order on cybersecurity reportedly includes a provision for Homeland Security to oversee data sharing between companies and the government on threats and to provide intelligence reports to need-to-know businesses, according to The Associated Press. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has described cyberwarfare as a "whole new threat" and a "battlefront of the future."
