Court considers whether Goldman gender-bias case should go to arbitration
A federal appeals court is weighing whether a gender-discrimination case filed by Lisa Parisi, a former Goldman Sachs managing director, should be decided in arbitration or be allowed to become a class action lawsuit. Goldman argues that a lower court was wrong in not sending the case to arbitration, which it contends is required under an agreement signed by Parisi.
