The gender earnings gap

A study conducted by economics professors at the business schools at Harvard and the University of Chicago suggests that the gender-based earnings gap is caused not by male prejudice but because mothers work less. "Dynamics of the Gender Gap for Young Professionals in the Financial and Corporate Sectors" followed the careers of MBA graduates, tracking their earnings and participation in the workforce.
