Study: Up to 7.5 hours of exercise weekly is best for mental health
A survey of 7,600 U.S. adults showed those who got from 2.5 hours to 7.5 hours per week of exercise had better mental health, Columbia University researchers reported in Preventive Medicine. They found exercising beyond 7.5 hours led to an increase in symptoms of depression and anxiety in men and women and across age groups.
