The popularity of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," to be released Nov. 16, could renew the debate over the appropriateness of Harry Potter books for the classroom -- a frightening prospect for administrators in more conservative districts, where Potter stories often have met with vehement opposition. Censors have targeted the Harry Potter series more often than any other books over the past two years, according to the American Library Association.
