Pepsi recycles a slogan from the early 1960s in a new advertising campaign to debut Sunday night during the Academy Awards broadcast. The ads feature the slogan "think young, drink young," similar to the "for those who think young" theme used from 1961 to 1964. The revamped theme "stems from the notion baby boomers are reinventing themselves and looking for the emotional feeling of being young again," says Pepsi spokesman Dave DeCecco.
