Russia yesterday said it wants to send delegates to some U.S. poultry plants because it has concerns about sanitary conditions and the use of additives. Chicken is the top U.S. export to Russia, averaging between $600 million and $700 million a year. Russia banned chicken imports from the U.S. on March 10; U.S. officials are calling the ban protectionist.
