CBS' longtime hit series "CSI: Miami" will be the first nonoriginal drama series to air on AMC. The cable network, under a licensing deal, has obtained the rights to the first 10 seasons of the series. If the show, which has also aired on A&E, goes into an 11th and 12th season, AMC would have the right to air those episodes.
Thanks to shows such as "Dog the Bounty Hunter," "CSI: Miami," and "The Sopranos," A&E now ranks fifth among cable networks. A&E has been able to successfully recast itself with programming aimed at younger viewers.
