Stewart Edington, who joined Albertsons LLC in 2003 and was most recently pharmacy manager for the Florida division, was named vice president of pharmacy operations. He succeeds Raymond McCall, who took a job with Ahold.
Plaintiffs in a lawsuit against DeConna Ice Cream, the Florida manufacturer of Big Daddy ice cream, will either get a refund or two free cups of ice cream for every one cup they bought. The settlement is in response to claims the company erroneously labeled products as low fat.
