Sandy Dahl's husband, a pilot on the United Airlines plane that crashed in Pennsylvania during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, always wanted to be an F-16 fighter jet pilot. Last week, Dahl got her wish to ride in one of the aircraft, in memory of her husband, with the Colorado Air National Guard.
Boeing yesterday laid out the parameters for aerospace suppliers seeking work on its new 7E7 jet. In a change to its way of doing business, Boeing foresees that the smaller suppliers will seek work from its partners, rather than from Boeing itself.
