Wescom Products, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based health care technology company, has launched two communication devices that will be used in hospitals and nursing homes. The AngelTrac system uses ankle bands and sensors, as well as software, that continually emit a radio frequency identification signal and allow an infant to be tracked. The Vocera system is a badge worn around the neck and will allow two-way communications.
