Depressed teens were more likely to improve by taking Prozac than by undergoing behavior therapy, a study released last week found. The results may confuse parents about which therapy they should seek for their children and are further complicated by recent Food and Drug Administration warnings that antidepressants can be dangerous for some children and adolescents. However, experts say the findings regarding talk therapy are complicated and shouldn't be regarded as a dismissal of its benefits.
