Unilever has pulled advertisements for Slim-Fast that feature actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg after complaints concerning comments she made about President Bush at a fund-raiser for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass. The company said it was "disappointed" by Goldberg's comments, but the actress said that while she understood the company's need to respond to consumers, she was concerned her conduct was being judged by people who hadn't attended the event.
