Sens. Bill Frist, R-Tenn., and Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., together in a Washington Post op-ed call for "major, transformative change" to improve the U.S. health care system. Frist and Clinton say patients must take change of their medical well-being, technology must become more consistent and its use more widespread, quality care standards and price information should be made readily available, and competition must be encouraged among providers.
