Employers can expect to see health care costs rise an average of 12.9% next year, and workers are likely going to be asked to pay a larger portion of the bill, according to a survey of 900 firms. The survey found companies are only budgeting an average increase of 9.6% in their health care spending and the difference will in many cases be shifted to employees, in the form of higher co-payment fees or a limited choices in plans.
