Financial news giant Dow Jones & Co., seeking to broaden its Internet offerings and advertising revenue beyond its current subscription service, will buy MarketWatch for $519 million. MarketWatch, parent of financial news Web site CBS MarketWatch, attracted about 7.6 million unique visitors a month in the first six months of 2004. WSJ.com, the Web site of Dow Jones' Wall Street Journal, has about 2.8 million "unique visitors" a month.
