Travel comparison Web site Kayak.com has launched a new search tool to allow advertisers, such as hotels, to concentrate their spending on dates when they need to fill rooms at certain properties. The ads will appear when consumers' travel queries meet the advertisers' criteria.
Last year was a "fantastic," active year for real estate investing, and the chaos is likely to continue in 2005, Principal Real Estate Investors' CEO Pat Halter predicts.
