Turnberry Associates, the new owners of Miami's Fontainebleau resort, say the landmark hotel will no longer be a Hilton and the owners plan to run the 1,400 room-property independently. While going it alone will leave the hotel without the marketing support of a national hotel chain, the owners hinted that they may build on the hotel's reputation to develop their own brand and open other Fontainebleaus.
