Architect Rafael Vinoly, best known for his New York skyscraper architecture, will design his first London tower for Land Securities to replace the 24-story headquarters of investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Vinoly originally was tapped in 2003 to win the Ground Zero project, but the decision was overruled by New York's governor in favor of Studio Libeskind.
