Pepsico announced Gary M. Rodkin will step down as Chairman and CEO of Pepsico Beverages and Foods North America, and said two executives would replace him. Dawn Hudson will be the new President & CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America, and John C. Compton has been promoted to the position of President & CEO of QTG, consisting of the Quaker Foods and Tropicana/Gatorade divisions.
The state's legislature is considering a bill to rid public school vending machines of certain snack items, but the Grocery Manufacturers of America says schools need to focus on more than vending machines and take a broader approach to healthy living.
