Feeding infants cereals when they are between 4 months and 6 months old may reduce their risk of developing gluten intolerance, or celiac disease, later on, a study says. The intolerance to gluten is mostly genetic but since only a small number of those with the genetic disposition develop the disease, researchers believe other factors, such as diet, may be involved.
