The second annual Advertising Week in New York, slated for Sept. 26 to Sept. 30 in Manhattan, will reprise many of last year's events, including the selection of advertising icons and logos for inclusion on the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame. "There is nothing wrong with celebrating a great industry," said O. Burtch Drake, president of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, which created Advertising Week. "What's wrong with tooting our own horn?"
