Google is buying pages in technology magazines and dividing and reselling the advertising space to clients of its AdWords pay-per-click online advertising program, CNET News.com reports. The ads appear in such technology pubs as PC Magazine and Maximum PC, along with printed urls that point to a Google-hosted display advertising page.

Arbitron has released the first out-of-home viewing data based on portable people meters. In a test in Houston, out-of-home viewing accounted for 11.3% of the total audience 6 years and older for the coverage of the space shuttle launch.
