The Interactive Advertising Bureau announced that a number of major Web sites are in compliance or on track to comply with new standards governing members with proprietary ad serving platforms. IAB president and CEO Greg Stuart said in a statement, "That these major media companies have invested the time, effort, and resources towards compliance demonstrates our industry's commitment that interactive will be the most accountable mainstream medium, and indicates a continued maturing of a 10-year-old industry."
