Despite the popularity of the "real women" in the Dove ads, L'Oreal has tapped beautiful Eva Longoria to be the new face of the cosmetics maker. Tom Boyd, a California State University associate professor, remarked: "A person who is beautiful and famous is typically perceived to know how to look good. That gives them a certain amount of credibility about a product that is supposed to make us look good."
