Famed hotelier Andre Balazs reportedly is in talks with entertainment executives to create a scripted TV series taking a behind-the-scenes look at a top hotel. Balazs' hotels include celebrity hangouts such as the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, the Mercer in New York's SoHo district and Standard hotels in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
Holiday Inn Express is investing $53 million to overhaul its standard bedding package with a new triple-sheeting model to include a decorative top sheet, medium-weight duvet blanket and 200-threat-count sheets. Four pillows in soft and firm options are also part of the upgrade.
