Having discovered that consumers were playing the Anheuser-Busch-sponsored "Bud Pong" with beer not water, as was recommended, the company has cancelled its promotion of the game. "It has come to our attention that despite our explicit guidelines, there may have been instances where this promotion was not carried out in the manner it was intended," an Anheuser-Busch spokeswoman said.
