Lockheed Martin is still considering using the Embraer ERJ-145 for the Army's new spy plane, despite the Army's comments last month that the plane could not achieve mission capability. The Army said the Aerial Common Sensor is too heavy for the plane. Lockheed said it has found that modifications will allow the plane to remain a choice for the program. Lockheed is also considering Embraer's ERJ-190, the Bombardier Global Express, the Gulfstream 550 and Boeing's 737.
