As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, some health experts warn that there are still plenty of women who are not fully aware of the importance of getting mammograms to detect breast cancer early. They cite a slight decline in breast cancer screening over recent years and a recent study found that although three-quarters of women over age 40 report getting regular mammogram screenings, less than two-thirds actually do.
