Though ads for distilled spirits are rare on cable TV and terrestrial radio, and never seen on any of the major national TV networks, liquor spots increasingly are showing up on satellite radio -- and in unconventional and innovative formats. For example, Diageo brand Tanqueray is running a campaign featuring signature spokesman Tony Sinclair and a hip-hop song called "Get Your Ice On."
