Guests at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York's Times Square are being treated to the future of elevator convenience -- where elevators have no buttons, and guests instead punch in the floor they want in a keypad in the lobby. A digital readout tells them which elevator to take and, since the computerized elevators know who is going where, they can sort passengers and eliminate the slowdown of having to stop at multiple floors.
