Research In Motion and NTP continued their verbal battle yesterday over a settlement plan in their long-running patent dispute. NTP said RIM has been misrepresenting the terms of a settlement plan that would have let the BlackBerry maker license NTP's technology, while RIM accused the patent firm of glossing over certain objectionable provisions. The rhetoric comes as U.S. District Court Judge James Spencer mulls whether to impose an injunction against RIM that would halt BlackBerry sales in the U.S.
