With falling prices and growing interest, consumers are integrating media and Internet access with more standard features in their cars, RVs and boats. Market researcher Frost & Sullivan predicts the revenue for in-vehicle computing and entertainment systems will more than double to $4.4 billion in 2011, while "the primary mode of communication while at sea has gone from voice and fax over satellite to e-mail" according to Ed Lasher, CEO of YachtComputing.
