Java chain Starbucks is getting into the film industry with a promotion of the feature film, "Akeelah and the Bee," using the film's spelling bee theme as a basis for a nationwide campaign, with spelling challenges printed on Starbucks cups, cardboard sleeves and even barista uniforms. The promotion also features online movie clips and trailers via Wi-Fi partner, T-Mobile HotSpot network.
