A "branded city" being built about 10 miles northwest of Phoenix will give marketers the chance to integrate their branding message through 30 Times Square-like billboards, special promotions to residents and demonstrations in the development's main plaza. The 6.5 million square feet of Westgate City Center, which is being developed by Ellman Cos. and Clear Channel Branded Cities, will include hotels, offices, condominiums, convention centers, movie theaters, restaurants, shopping and two major sports arenas.
