Broadband adoption among U.S. households with incomes between $30,000 and $50,000 jumped 59% between March 2005 and March 2006, a survey by the Pew Internet and American Life Project says. In total, 84 million people, or 42% of the adult population, now have broadband, compared with 30% a year ago, the report indicates.
