Forty-one percent of people say they spend more than five hours a day with a computer mouse, and 32% say they spend that amount of time daily with a partner, according to a survey by Logitech. The study also found that 6% of respondents spend more than 10 hours a day with a computer mouse.
The popularity of Motorola's Ming device has put the company way out front in China's smartphone market. Data show that Moto currently has 50% of the smartphone market, putting it well ahead of rivals in the important niche. "It is the device to be seen with in China," Motorola CEO and Chairman Ed Zander said recently.
Flat-panel TVs, LCD TVs in particular, are gaining favor among consumers, according to NPD Group, which found that of the 40% of respondents planning to buy a new TV this year, 15% are considering an LCD TV. Price declines, heavy marketing and informed consumers are driving interest in the technology.
