Boeing is continuing with construction on its $1 billion facility to build 777X wings in Everett, Wash. Steel frameworks for walls have been erected on the construction site, and the building is slated to open in 2016.

Russian airline Aeroflot will purchase long-range airliners from Airbus and Boeing. Aeroflot will purchase 22 Boeing 787s and 22 Airbus A350 XWBs. Terms of the agreement, which still needs government approval, were not disclosed.
