WPP's GroupM network, comprising the shops MediaCom, Mediaedge:cia and MindShare, has inked an ad and research deal with TiVo that requires the agencies to buy a certain amount of TiVo ad space at a pre-set price. The pact also calls for the shops and TiVo to develop a custom application for one marketer along the lines of the Car Configuration Tool and Movie Ticket Commerce applications that earlier had launched on TiVo.
