Apple apparently is tinkering with universal battery formats that could be used to charge everything including PCs and cell phones, according to this blog post. Filings with the U.S. Patent Office suggest that the company is working on several sizes, including large packs for notebooks, midsize units for mobile phones and smaller batteries for computer mice or headphones.
