Wal-Mart Stores has opted for a completely fresh approach to its marketing by awarding its estimated $570 million account to two new agencies: Interpublic Group's recently formed Draft FCB Group for creative and Aegis Group's Carat USA for media. Longtime incumbent Omnicom Group's GSD&M, Austin, Texas, will be off the account by the end of January. The discount giant's other veteran shop, Bernstein-Rein in Kansas City, Mo., was dismissed in August.
