Although users in the U.K. and elsewhere throughout Europe are just now adopting mobile VoIP technology, they're likely to surpass their U.S. counterparts, despite its origins in America. The main obstacles for wider mobile VoIP adoption in the U.S. are the lack of networks to accommodate SIP-capable phones and poor-quality VoIP technology from U.S. mobile companies.
