The traditional 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. primetime slot is losing ground to daytime with viewers, who increasingly view video on the Web and their cell phones, at all hours of the day. This change in viewing habits is likely to have an impact on scheduling, programming and ad pricing, the latter already reflected in NBC's recent decision to program less pricey shows for the 8 p.m. hour.
