The landmark 5 million-square-foot, 54-story building that architect Rem Koolhaas has designed for Beijing may loom as one of the largest buildings ever built, but its designer says the building is actually lower than other skyscrapers in the city, and it will feel "accessible." The building is being constructed for Central Chinese Television, and its design is the focus of a show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
