The inhabitants and government of the island of St. Lucia are working to overhaul their economic structure to become a tourism hot spot. The government has created incentives for hotel builders, which has spurred an increase in the number of hotels and with an increase in direct flights from the U.S. and a boost from the Cricket World Cup in March, they might just succeed.
