In a major shake-up, Web portal Yahoo! is being reorganized into three units, one focusing on audience, another on advertising and a third on technology. Current Yahoo! CFO Susan Decker will head the advertising unit, while current COO Dan Rosensweig and Lloyd Braun, Yahoo!'s media and entertainment group head, are departing the company. The move comes amid a steep drop in the company's share price, lowered profit forecasts, reduced share of the search market and a delay of its long-awaited ad placement system, dubbed Panama.
